Watershed Legends 2017

Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts will present the Watershed Legends awards to recognize the "innovations and contributions made by accomplished artists to the field of ceramics." This year, Watershed is honoring Wayne Higby, Jack Troy, and Paula Winokur.

As a fellow non-profit organization, Studio Potter is supporting Watershed's recognition of these three distinguished artists by making all of their articles published in SP publicly available on our website. The articles span four decades, and offer dynamic perspectives on materials, firing techniques, inspriation, and education. Visit the author pages of Wayne HigbyJack Troy and Paula Winokur to read their articles.

The Legends celebration will take place Saturday, October 7, at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia. This celebration will include an exhibition of award recipients' artwork and and a ceremony at the Arch Street Meeting House including a keynote address from Glenn Adamson. More details can be found on the Watershed website

Want to read them in print? You can purchase copies of back issues via our Archive page. Not sure if it is sold out? Email membership@studiopotter.org
