How can I pay for a membership with a credit or debit card, instead of a paypal account?
We can process the individual one-time membership or the educator membership for anyone without a paypal account. Recurring memberships require a paypal account, as paypal manages the subscription. Any non-recurring membership can be purchased without using a paypal account. To do this, fill out the new member or renewal form, then click continue. Below are step by step instructions for checking out using a credit or debit card.
Step 2: On the pending membership page, click "ccomplete subscription via paypal." (Yes, even if you don't have a paypal account!)
Step 3: You should now be taken to paypal.com. On the screen, there will be a button that says, "pay with debit or credit card." Click this to pay via with a debit or credit card, without using a paypal account.
Step 4: Log-in to your studiopotter.org account and enjoy the journal!
I emailed you and I haven't heard back. When can I expect a reply?
When you email us, please give us up to three business days to get back to you. We're a small staff and sometimes we aren't able to answer emails on the same day we receive them (we are human after all!). We do our best to get back to you ASAP when you contact us. If it has been more than three business days, please resend your email it to us. Recently, we've recieved an exceptionally high volume of email and may be delayed in our reply.
When are new articles published?
Studio Potter (SP) publishes 3-5 new articles every month. We do not have an exact date that the articles are published, but members will receive our monthly email newsletter every month. The email newsletter will announce each month's new articles.
What does "membership" mean?
Our "members" are our subscribers. Members get access to the online journal, and they support our mission as a non-profit publisher. If you are a member, thank you for supporting Studio Potter!
I paid for my membership, but my account doesn't have access.
Our website uses the email address on your paypal account to apply membership to your Studio Potter account. If your email on your paypal account does not match the email you use on Studio Potter, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know. We will apply the membership to your account manually. For any other membership account issues, please email email@example.com.
How do I cancel a recurring membership?
If you would like to cancel your recurring membership, you will need to log into your paypal account and cancel your automatic payments to Studio Potter. You are also welcome to email firstname.lastname@example.org to request the cancellation of a recurring membership. We offer opt-in recurring memberships for the convenience of our members. We never want to charge you for a membership you do not want to pay for.
