NATIONAL CLAY WEEK, OCT. 9-15

Next week is the second annual National Clay Week -- a week-long celebration of clay and everyone who enjoys clay and ceramic art as a part of their life. How do you get involved? Visit the NCW website to see the full schedule of events Monday-Friday, and the national open studios event happening Friday-Sunday.

Last year, SP participated in the event as a part of the Artaxis day of conversations live-streamed through Periscope, this year Artaxis has a stellar line-up of both domestic and international artists that will be live streaming through its facebook page. The Studio Potter office doors will be open to anyone who wants to drop by anytime on Tuesday to view this event on the big screen! We are at 116 Pleasant St., Easthampton, MA 01027, Suite #038, (enter building by Riff's restaurant, turn right, downstairs, first hallway on left, blue doors!). Coffee will be brewed all day!

New this year is the open studios event. Check out the map to see what open studios are near you, and if you are near Western Massachusetts, our studio potter neighbors, the East Street Clay Studio, Tiffany Hilton and Robbie Heidinger are participating. Make sure to click on their pins on the map for details about open studio times and other details. It should be a beautiful fall weekend, we highly recommend you heading over to see these fine potters in their studios!
