Dear Pete and Gerry:
 

This is it! The solution to pollution!
 

One day last year, in the northern woods of South Carolina, it dawned on me. I had been sitting for a couple of hours waiting for the mailman to come with my government assistance (I don't like the word welfare), wondering how I could use my tractor in the business so that it could become a tax deduction. The tractor was sitting next to the Cadillac, which is already deducted as transportation to fairs and fleamarkets. My first thoughts were to perhaps use it to run a hammer mill, or a pugmill. But then it came to me! A. P.T.O.-powered portable salt kiln! The advantages would be three-fold: non-polluting, economical to operate, and deductible.
