Studio Potter is pleased to welcome Michaela Corinne to our team as a summer intern.

Michaela lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where she is pursuing an associates degree in fine arts at St. Louis Community College – where she is also vice president of the clay club. After she's earned her associates in fine arts degree, Michaela aims to continue her education in ceramics at a university.

Last Summer, Michaela participated in a fellowship that tasked her to learn five coding languages and use that knowledge to develop a personal website. She used that opportunity to create an online magazine to promote the work of underrepresented artists. By the end of the summer she published the first issue of Courtyard Collective.

Michaela's enthusiasm for ceramics, and skill in website development and creative writing, make her a great fit for Studio Potter. A main goal of her internship with Studio Potter is to expand her perspective of careers available in the ceramics field. She'll be working with the SP team to write and publish a series of articles – so stay tuned!
