Studio Potter Summer Sketch Contest

To celebrate summer and all its joys, Studio Potter is launching a Summer Sketch Contest. Make a fun, summer and ceramic themed "sketch," post it on Instagram, and tag us to enter!

What is a Sketch?

A rough drawing (print, paint, photo, clay, found object, mix-medium, collage, animation, literary/instrumental/theatrical composition, etc.) representing the chief features of a ceramic object or scene and made with reference to summer.​

  • Like this post

  • Post your sketch(es) and hashtag  #SPsummersketch (no hashtag: no entry)

  • Draw, sketch, collage, animate, or capture in any material that suits your summer ceramic idea. Think summer meets ceramics! Heat, bugs, blooms, gardens, sweat, vacation...etc.

Prize Package:

  • One-year individual membership to the Studio Potter, valued at $60

  • Mug by Arthur Halverson @arthurhalvorsen

  • Your winning sketch featured on the Studio Potter homepage for one month with a brief artist bio and link to your website
