Maria Danziger is the Executive Director of The Art School at Old Church (TASOC), a non-profit community arts organization which offers educational programming in the visual arts in northern New Jersey and is host to the Old Church Pottery Show and Sale, the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. To honor Karen Karnes and her contribution to the School and the ceramics community-at-large,TASOC has established the “Karen Karnes Legacy Initiative” which provides clay scholarships to incoming students as well as support for kilns, wheels and the ceramics studio.
